About CCA

The QtPS Malay Dance CCA serves as a platform for its members to gain an appreciation for Malay culture while steadily developing the elegant self in them through learning a repertoire of beautiful folk dance moves of Asli, Inang, Zapin, Joget and Masri. The different dance manoeuvres not only bring out the gracefulness and beauty of each member, developing their love for the Malay dance form but also build their strength of character, instilling in them the value of self-discipline, teamwork and commitment. Other than the in and out of school opportunities to perform to hone their dance skills and showcase their talent, the members also participates in the biennial SYF Competition which serves as a vehicle for them to demonstrate their dancing capabilities at a competitive level.

Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Appreciation 2018 - Certificate of Distinction
