Learning Extravaganza 2024 aims to provide parents of Queenstown Primary School with a deeper understanding of the unique and holistic learning experience. Through this year's lineup of programs, students will be empowered to develop leadership skills and confidence. Details of each programme :
1. Classroom Experience
-
Take part in a short lesson conducted by two of our teachers.
-
Parents will put on the hat of students in a lesson to experience a student's learning in the classroom.
-
QtPS signature and current pedagogy will be used to conduct the lesson.
-
A Q&A session is made available at the end of the lesson.
Important note: This is not a workshop to teach parents how to teach their child. Given the limited availability of seats, registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents of current students will receive notification regarding the status of their registration closer to the event date.
2. Student Booths & CCA Performances

Students will present their projects to LE 2024 attendees, highlighting their reflections, successes, and challenges faced during their journey of enrichment programs and CCA.

Students will showcase their projects set up.

LE attendees will be able to engage the presenters by asking questions at the respective booths.

Performing Arts CCAs will showcase their SYF performances.
3. Student-Parent Dialogue
-
Parents are invited to engage student panelists through questions about QtPS experience.
4. School Tour
-
Prefects will lead attendees on a school tour to explore the various facilities and the conducive learning environment in the school
5. Talk by Families for Life @ Community (FFLC)
-
Families for Life @ Community - Jurong West (FFLC) will engage parents in a talk on Positive Parenting and Student Well-being.
